My intention is to facilitate brave spaces for exploration that enable insight, awareness, and transformation. As a therapist, I have supported couples, individuals, adolescents, and families struggling with life's transitions and challenges. I am trained to provide therapy to individuals overcoming trauma related to intimate violence, poverty, sexuality, and immigration. I focus on supporting clients to build meaningful, compassionate relationships. It is my belief that as a client, you choose the focus and direction of therapy - and the process can include current issues, historical ones, or a combination of both.
I have extensive experience working with diverse racial and sexual communities, including children of immigrant parents, and I approach all clients with honesty, sensitivity, and humility. I provide assessments and clinical support for survivors of childhood trauma, as well as play therapy for youth and adults. Because I have worked in a variety of clinical settings such as community organizations and mental health clinics, my practice emphasizes communication and community. I also enjoy working with people who are facing the complex transitions in parenthood.
