In my professional training, I graduated with a Master’s Degree from San Francisco State University in 1995. I received my LCSW in 2000. I have worked with families and children in hospitals, schools, shelters, the court system, homeless and transition residences, youth support programs, county agencies, and other non-profits in San Francisco and the East Bay.

I have over fifteen years experience as a practicing psychotherapist. In addition to my private practice, I currently provide clinical services for participants in a school-based day treatment center in Oakland and consult and supervise clinicians in a variety of non-profit organizations in San Francisco. My decision to practice in this field is a direct expression of my own life experiences and of my strong belief in the power of therapy.
